Composed this little ditty to post on Twitter because I know that my false accuser, against police advice, still follows my twitter feed (a year after the case was formally dismissed) I sure hope she reads it.

I expect you think the police will follow up everything you say,
like they did when they thought they would have their day,
but no, they are just wishing you would go away,
#FailedFalseAccuser
Karma is coming
for you pair of liars
and there is Hell to pay.

Let's keep it going!

An Inconvenient Truth

See it was closing time and she was drunk alright

The sun was coming up it'd been a hell of a night

Getting on it and fuck it, he seems nice

So she went back for a sniff

And a whiskey on ice

One by one the others all started to leave

Til it was just the 2 of them, secretly pleased

Cos she’s been feeling hot in the mood worked up

She leans in for a kiss and says “That’s what’s up”

The music goes off and they go up the stairs

Making passionate love chemically impaired

Until eventually they both pass out

While her boyfriends wondering of her whereabouts

She wakes up full of shame and regret

Reaches for her phone sees her boyfriends texts

"I'm worried about you hun let me know you're ok"

She grabs her clothes and runs out his house in shame

Her phone rings again "where were you last night

Your friends said they left you with some bloke called mike

They way they said it, I just knew that you'd been intimate

I can't believe I trusted you… I’m such an idiot

“No babe” she replied, “you don't understand

They left me there defenceless, swear it weren't like that

Then he dragged me up into his room

And forced himself upon me”

Her boyfriends voice broke "oh babe, I'm so sorry"

The lie grows the kit confirms mikes DNA

The police are at his flat "where were you yesterday"

Face white with shock “OK Let’s bring him in”

Press record on the tape and they begin questioning

He leaves in a daze all kinds of confused

. Can’t believe someone could accuse

Him of the most heinous crime because her lie got too big

Easy to say it never happens but it happened to him

Snowballed unfaithful desire

They say it don’t happen but at some point everyones been a liar

Gossip spread, liked passed by a town crier

Even his own friends said “No smoke without fire”

Then his boss gets in touch, says “don’t come in next week”

Explaining that “There’s been a letter we have received”

His life is falling apart. and it’s starting to show

. As he arrives home to a smashed window

And scratched into the door the words “we’re coming for you”

Cos now her brother’s heard, rounded up his crew

So he boards up his window. locks up his door

Drinks himself into a drunken mess on the floor

He knows. that even if he clears his name

Mud sticks. with him until his last day

Wraps around his neck still can’t believe it’s real

Kicks away the footstool struggles til he’s still

These things happen man it's sad but it's true

I mean they really shouldn't happen but sadly they do

It makes it harder for those who have really been through

Some people just lie

An inconvenient truth

False accusations are a tool of abuse

That leave your head spinning

Lynched with a noose

A pitchfork mob

Unconcerned with truth

But it never happens til it happens to you

To be accused of the worst crime

Damn sure you’d better be

Before you destroy their name

And throw away the key

Who can pass the blame

Then complain there was a mix up

This ain’t a disclosure failure

Call it what it is- a stitch up

This ain’t the Guildford 4

Or the Birmingham 6

This is the UK thousands

Of families torn to bits

Human rights are out the window

Henriques report gets ripped up

This ain’t a disclosure failure

Call it what it is- a stitch up

The services are getting cut

And there’s all this money spent

And those who make false statements

Face no consequence

The police and CPS

They both need a fix up

This ain’t a disclosure failure

Call it what it is- a stitch up

Their names are never mentioned

Anonymous by law

But you’re guilty til proven innocent

With a hate mob at your door

In the age of outrage

All reason gets tipped up

This ain’t a disclosure failure

Call it what it is- a stitch up

Powerful material to a generation under greater threat of life-deprivation through false witness than ever before. This message has to get through. Let's hope its financially profitable too, Johnny. You deserve everything the best. I'm sure you got plenty of backers in the industry. Brilliant. Well said, Patrick.
